I'm heartbroken today. Early this morning my sweet princess had a seizure followed by what we suspect was a stroke. She was unable to stand or even hold her head up by the time we arrived at the vet.
She was the worlds greatest little dog. So much personality and my best friend. I will miss her forever
Millie the Wonder Dog will always be in my heart. There will never be another like her

Millie was a special dog and will be in your heart forever. I'm sorry she is gone; I've lost my best fur friends too and it is heart wrenching. Just remember the unconditional love she gave you. She is probably at Rainbow Ridge playing with my departed fur friends now.

Oh no Kim.... I can't believe it! Seems like she was doing so much better! This is such a difficult thing to go through. They occupy such a large part of our hearts and lives! Please know how much you are being thought of and tears here too as Millie brought so much joy and always brightened many a day through your posts! Big hugs dear friend...

ReplyDeleteOh Kim, tears are just rolling down my cheeks. Really. I am so sad. My heart hurts for you. You know when you say heart broken in pieces? My son when he was little said 'my heart's in crumbs' like broken in pieces. I don't know how he could know the feeling because he was just 2 or 3 yrs old. Not sure why I mentioned that.

ReplyDeleteKim: I'm so so so sorry to hear Millie is gone. There aren't words to comfort; I know this because just before Christmas I lost my beloved dog to bone cancer, all very sudden (for us, anyway). It's just not fair that they leave us so soon, is it. They take a piece of our hearts with them, but remember that you still have enough to share when you're ready to again.
