So hopeful
Still hopeful....
Then.....during the "rolling phase" hope began to get a little tenuous..... And with good reason
Since then the laundry is tumbling, the slow cooker is cooking, the kitchen is sparkling again, Netflix is streaming and I deserve something special.....coffee-wise
And an un-related topic, I finally removed the Christmas ornaments from my display ball and replaced with these fun balls. They should do the trick for awhile
Sounds like you are having a wonderful day (except for the cin. rolls).. enjoy
ReplyDeleteOh dear, hated to see those rolls go to the trash. But it looks like you have turned the bad start of the morning into a wonderful day. WooHoo, it is Downtown Abbey day!
ReplyDeleteI don't know what went wrong with the cinnamon rolls but they look perfectly yummy to me... They would have to be pretty bad before I would throw them in the trash. I give you brownie points for trying.
ReplyDeleteIf they stuck to the pan, next time you might try some parchment paper in the pan and nothing will stick to it. I use some all the time in my pans when I bake and I love it, even when I bake brownies.
You seem to have everything well under control. Love your fun balls, just the right color for Valentine.
Bailey is a good friend to have around.
Hugs,
JB
Those cinnamon rolls look perfectly fine to me!
ReplyDeleteDust off that hook and get busy.
Hugs :)
Lauren
Just think of all of the calories you saved. :) I think they would have turned out if you had just baked them. They looked wonderful to me.
ReplyDeleteI love your bowl of yarn balls on your table.
I think a great day would be a hooking day. It is a dull and dreary day here, just a perfect hooking day. Have a nice evening.
Sometimes ugly tastes wonderful. I would of baked them, taste, then decided if they needed to get trashed. But the calories saved was a plus. Yes, today is a good hooking day, thick pea soup fog where I live.
ReplyDeleteYou know how to party!!! ;)
ReplyDeleteI hope you try again. To me it looked like there was too much filling for them to roll properly. I would have baked them anyway to see what happens. Maybe it would be good to check a Utube video. I love them for learning how to do most anything.
ReplyDeleteWunderbar minis? Why have those not graced the shelves of my snack shack?!?!?!
ReplyDeleteI bought a new bottle of Vermont ice which is much like bailys but with a hint of maple oh yea! Enjoying it tonight waiting for Downton Abbey.
ReplyDeleteSorry your cinnamon rolls didn't work very frustrating.
Cathy
Awww, Kim, I hate when I ready to bake and shit happens. Looks like you made up, yum, hugs Francine.
ReplyDeleteBaileys always makes things better! A slow cooker meal always makes Sunday special.
ReplyDeleteToo bad about the rolls....gosh I haven't made those in a long time. My taste buds are dying for some now, thank you very much. lol Maybe I should try to make some up.
ReplyDeleteLove making slow cooker meals.
I'm thinking of starting to do punch needle rugs or embroidery. Looks like it would be fun. I spent a bit of money on supplies.
Do you use a cutting machine to cut your wool strips for your mats?
Gotta run, take care, Janet W
I would have baked those, but you saved yourself a ton of calories by eating the cereal...good luck with your next batch! Take care with this big storm heading your way. We got a bunch of snow today and staying inside was a good thing.
