I'm a day late but Abby's escape seemed more relevant yesterday. But 1 year ago I became a homeowner.
Probably the biggest, scariest decision I've ever made but it's turned out to be the best decision. My humble little bungalow isn't fancy, it isn't stylishly decorated (yet) and is probably never going to be "finished" but it's HOME.
But really all this anniversary means is that I only have 19 years left on my mortgage. LOL
There is no place like home. The years will fly by quicker than you want. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteSo happy for you Kim, it is a very big decision but you did it.Hugs Francine.
ReplyDeleteOMG, I can't believe it's been a year already. Time is on the run and I'm loosing track. It only feels like it was a few months. I remember the deep snow in front of your house but lordy, a year already.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary. I'll be almost 88 when you finish paying your mortgage. Yikes! I'm sure it was a scary move but you did it.
Enjoy your Home Sweet Home.
Hugs,
JB
Congratulations Kim. There may be better deals on refi's or pay downs on the mortgage so not to worry. You have a sweet home and can't believe it has been a year either.
ReplyDeleteI'll be 81 when your mortgage is paid off....sheesh....if you pay it off quicker I won't feel so old..just sayin. What I really mean is congrats! That year sure went fast!
ReplyDeleteHappy one year Anniversary!!! I can't believe it has already been a year. Gosh you have done so much to your house in one year. It took me five years to hang one picture.
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome!
Happy anniversary!!! I am so happy it turned out to be the best decision for you.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you and Abby :)

Happy Anniversary! I love how much you've done already...especially the latest addition...Miss Abby...my one year home owner anniversary is less than 2 months away...you've got me beat by a mile on painting alone...so glad you made this decision.
ReplyDeleteHappy House Anniversary. I can't believe it's been a year already.
ReplyDeleteAnd look at all the great improvements you've made. It certainly is a cute place and you've really done so well with the decorating.
Happy many more years for you and the little one.
So glad you love your home it does not matter how large or small if you are happy comfortable and safe it is the most amazing home ever.

Gee whiz, look at your house on your first anniversary. I will have been in my little bungalow for 4 years this month and could use your eye for decorating. I was lucky and bought my house when prices were low and so was interest rates. Of course I will be 82 when I pay it off.
ReplyDeleteHappy Anniversary!
ReplyDeleteWow how that flew by!
