An anniversary

I'm a day late but Abby's escape seemed more relevant yesterday.  But 1 year ago I became a homeowner.

Probably the biggest, scariest decision I've ever made but it's turned out to be the best decision. My humble little bungalow isn't fancy, it isn't stylishly decorated (yet) and is probably never going to be "finished" but it's HOME.

But really all this anniversary means is that I only have 19 years left on my mortgage.  LOL

  3. OMG, I can't believe it's been a year already. Time is on the run and I'm loosing track. It only feels like it was a few months. I remember the deep snow in front of your house but lordy, a year already.

Happy Anniversary. I'll be almost 88 when you finish paying your mortgage. Yikes! I'm sure it was a scary move but you did it.
    Enjoy your Home Sweet Home.
    Hugs,

  4. Congratulations Kim. There may be better deals on refi's or pay downs on the mortgage so not to worry. You have a sweet home and can't believe it has been a year either.

  11. Gee whiz, look at your house on your first anniversary. I will have been in my little bungalow for 4 years this month and could use your eye for decorating. I was lucky and bought my house when prices were low and so was interest rates. Of course I will be 82 when I pay it off.
