12 weeks for Abby and a treat for me

Sweet Abby just had her 12 week needle today.  She was a brave little girl :). Very well behaved and now having a little rest after enjoying her favorite bone.  I do so love this little pup


And she's growing like a weed.  It was only a couple of weeks ago she could barely stretch enough to peek out the window on the front door.  Now it's no problem.  And I was curious to see how much she weighed because I can definitely feel a difference.  She's my little chunky monkey.  She's a whopping 5.6 pounds!  If you remember poor little Millie barely got to 4 pounds.  

Now for my treat.  I splurged on myself today. And it has to be my last big house splurge but I could not resist.  Lauren.........you're going to be so jealous!  Lol.  I know how you love cabinets.

This is a 1930's Hoosier cabinet.  These are the sellers pics, as I have yet to fill it with goodies



I just love it.  It reminds me of my grandmother.  I love the enamel slide out baking table, and below it is a slide out cutting board,  it's distressed and chippy and I love it!

    What a beautiful cabinet! It is gorgeous and since it reminds you of your grandmother...even better!

    Chunky Monkey? That made me laugh! Her and I are the same. We gain weight when we're happy!

    I am so glad Abbie is doing so well and so are you! I am so excited about your cabinet!! It is lovely. I have wanted one for years. I am so glad you found one. That is so cool!

    Heh, you have good karma this week. Look at that cabinet.... Sometimes it's good to splurge and make yourself happy. A plus is that it reminds you of grandmother. That is so sweet. I'm looking forward to see what you'll put in it. Some egg coddlers?

    Yes, I do love cupboards...sigh. So happy you found one that reminds you of someone so special. Can't wait to see how you decorate with it!!!

    I've been MIA from commenting on blogs! But I've been seeing your posts on FB and have wanted to tell you how much I love your little Chunky Monkey! Omg is she sweet! Poodles are the best.. mine are part poodle and they have the sweetest dispositions! You are perfectly matched I'd say... ( not the c.monkey part..lol!) And for that cupboard... omg again! It is a dandy! You will love loading it with goodies!! Yes! Pics of it when you get it in it's new home!!

    I always wanted a Hoosier too but never purchased one. Now I've no room for it but have plenty of other antiques which I enjoy. Abby is definitely a keeper and glad you found a good one. Love her new nickname. Looking forward to seeing pictures of the Hoosier in it's new location in your home.
