Happy 4th

Happy 4th of July to everyone. I thought you might get a chuckle out of this. (I did). Tonight I was texting with my faux sister in Massachusetts when she announces "tomorrow is the 4th of July here".

I replied " yeah, it's the 4th of July here too". About 10 seconds later my phone rings and she is roaring laughing, and so am I. Duh!

    Now this made me laugh out loud! Today one of my coworkers made the comment that she didn't understand why the 4th had to be in the middle of the week...seriously? I suggested that maybe the holiday should be called "Independence Day" and have it the first Mon. in July so she could have a 3 day weekend. Of course then there would be the "What independence are we celebrating" questions...Well, it's good to know that you'll have a July 4th day too. Enjoy it!

    Hahaha...My mother always gets me with jokes like that. Once a year she'll look at my hands and say "Do you file your nails?" and I'll say "yes I do." Then she says 'I throw my away" Gets me every-time.
