A party sounds fun right now. I've got my sad, droopy face on tonight. Big Sis Jane is flying home tomorrow :( Ten days went way to quickly. And yes, there was a big ugly sob ridden good-bye scene at the beach tonight. We are pathetic!
Anyway, enough of that. Lets get on with the questions this week
- What's your favorite room in your home?
2. If you could go anywhere on a vacation, all expense paid, where would it be?
I have always wanted to go to Italy and Greece. It has been #1 on my "someday" list. Plus you know I love martini's - with 3 olives. Bet I could get unlimited olives in Greece.....
No and I'm not sure why. Perhaps Mom didn't want me peddling cookies door to door :)
4. What's your favorite frozen treat?
Lately I would have to say chocolate peanut butter ice cream.
5. Are you NASCAR or the elderly lady with the pillbox hat when you drive?
NASCAR, all the way. On the way to the beach tonight I got behind a hay wagon and I thought I was going to have a stroke! lol
Don't forget to visit Patrice and the other participants in the Chats.
Oh Kim, I hate goodbyes,I was a campfire girl and I would love to go to Scotland or Ireland and see a castle. HUgs Cheri
ReplyDeleteWe agree on our sunrooms!! At my age, I like a room where I can see!!! ;-)
ReplyDeleteHaha, I can just see you behind a hay wagon. Really Italy or Greece? Come here and I will buy you all of the olives you can eat. :)
ReplyDeleteI think I would like your sun-porch too. I hope you feel better now, I knew it would be sad to say good bye to Jane.
Very nice questions.
So sorry your sis is leaving. I'm a crying fool, and good-byes are usually hard. Sun porches can be friendly places. I've been to Italy and I loved it. Never been to Greece, but I've seen so many pretty pictures of it. The ice cream sounds yummy. Darn! That was me in the hay wagon! I told you I drove slowly.:) Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteI'm always sad when my sis leaves...we always wish that Indiana would just sink so we could live closer! The bathroom has to be my fav..all my good reading material is there. I'd say have a good week, but with family heading out I'm sure it will be a bit sad...but hopefully filled with some good memories.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim,
ReplyDeleteIt would be great if you could go to Italy. I was there in 1982-84. I was a missionary for my church. It is an interesting and wonderful place.
The place I'd like to go to though is the mountains. Like to a lodge that has horseback riding in the summertime and snowmobile riding in the wintertime. I love snow and the winter.
I don't have a fav room in this house. They are all awful lol We will be moving soon and I hope to have a better answer for that question soon. Like in about a month. :)
Now you have some great memories of your sister's visit. That is wonderful. :)
Have a great day. Take care, Janet W
I would love to visit Italy also. Two of my brothers honeymooned there and loved it. My youngest brother and his bride last October. Now you have a year to plan more fun things for you and Jane next year. Maybe you can hook her a rug with all the things you two enjoy doing while she is here. Wouldn't that be so much fun.
ReplyDeleteI would so love a sunroom or at least a screened in porch. That would be so awesome! This is something I want in our next house, my dreamhouse. lol Good answers. Now following you via Chats...~Cathy
ReplyDeleteChats & Hodgepodge
I know just how you feel- I get that way when my dad visits and when the lovelies come home. I am not a fan of goodbyes. We just finished off a container of chocolate peanut butter frozen yogurt- it was so yummy! I'm not buying anymore though. Because it was so yummy...LOL
ReplyDeleteI had to laugh picturing you behind the hay truck ... that's like me behind a tractor..... Fizzzzzzzzing!!
ReplyDeleteso sorry your big sis is going home. I hope another visit is in the works already.

I love these chats...and better yet, your answers! I've been to Italy and enjoyed it, but would truly love to see Greece ('cept I fear I might not return)....perhaps I can join you on your sunporch, eat some chocolate peanut butter ice cream and olives (properly marinated, of course), and dream of driving the crazy narrow streets of Greece like two NASCAR fools (while peddling Girl Scout cookies to the natives)??? Just a thought.... ;o) Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
