The Pinocchio Effect

I've been thinking about Pinocchio lately. Not the lying part, but definitely the growing nose part. I'm having a bit of an issue. For the past few months I've been reading in bed, trying anything to help me settle down and sleep better.

I wear contact lenses and only use my glasses to read in bed. Lately it seems like I have been sliding them further and further down my nose. Now they are teetering precariously right on the tip. I'm running out of nose!! I think it's probably time to make an appointment with my eye doctor, since growing a longer nose seems impractical ;)

Oh, if you are wondering if I've made any progress binding the UFO rugs. No
Did I find the green yarn? No. Did I even look for the yarn? No. Tomorrow's another day! Lol

  3. You had me going for a minute. I thought that you had said a fib, lol.
The running out of nose is quite a common phenomena as we get on in age. Hopefully the optometrist can fix this issue.

I tried the lenses and could not wear them years ago and went back to glasses.

  5. How funny! I could just imagine you with those glasses on the tip of your nose. No need to have a longer one. The doctor will be glad to help you.

Isn't it great that we have tomorrow for what we didn't accomplish today?

  10. Ha ha ha! I wear contacts for far away and when they are off I can read perfect close up even though I am having the 40, um 61 year old stretch. I don't know how that works but I haven't had to purchase reading glasses. Yet. Creepy Kim about the lettuce. Seriously. I love my salads and was already having an issue with buying them at salad bars in the food stores. Ick!

  12. My trouble was my arms weren't long enough for me to hold the book!
And thanks for stopping by...I was a little hesitant about that dark corner of my pantry too. The job is coming along, but my computer may not. Lost our phone line today for awhile and our resident computer guru is going to a friend's for two days. Fear in all kinds of directions!
