Attempts

As you can tell by the title of this post, there were a few attempts this weekend.  Notice the post isn't titled "success".

I have been wanting a nice thick bbq steak.  Saturday I bought 3 large beef tenderloin steaks and made a nice tossed salad.  I anticipated this meal all day.  Turned on the BBQ and nothing happened.  I fiddled and fussed and could not get any gas through.  I was less than amused.  I ended up frying them inside.  They were still OK but its not the same.  So now I add "fix bbq" to the handymans list.

And I never found that perfect photo inspiration yet either.  You can tell because this is what I resorted to capturing this morning.  You know its desperate when you go to dandelions - Lol
I hope this post is not yet another failed attempt.  I have been having internet trouble at home all weekend.  It is going on and off randomly and driving me nuts.  If it still persists tomorrow then I will have to break down and call the company.  I hate dealing with tech support.

I haven't been commenting on too many blogs this weekend because it usually goes out after I am almost finished and I lose the comment.  So I have given up.  In fact, I have lost connection about 3 times while I am writing this post.

We get so darned addicted to the technology that  a few days without it working properly and it can make you batty!   It seems like the past few weeks, if its not blogger acting up its my internet.

  1. I have been thinking the same thing that when our internet goes down I am lost. I can't remember what I did last. Scary.
Hey, I love your dandelion picture. It is good.
But at least you attempted something right? Attempts are always good, no matter what. :)

  2. Sorry about your BBQ. When mine went on the blink ages ago, my husband doesn't fix things around here so I bought a small Habatchi and I hide it inside my big BBQ and I use charcoal. It's slower than propane but I manage.

I hope that you could find a little leprechaun to take a photo of.

I had the same problem with loosing my internet connection last year and it was corroded wires in the connection box outside. I haven't had any problem since. It was worst on windy days. I hope that it gets fixed soon. Hugs. JB

  4. Kim ~
I, too, love the dandelion pic just as long as it's not taken in my yard.
Yes, we are addicted, aren't we? And I'm not the techno geek that you are (said with much affection!). I am still frustrated with the blogs where I can't comment.
I hope your week starts off well!
    Pug hugs :)

Hope your week gets off to a better start! Smiles & Big Hugs ~ Robin

  6. Hi Kim,
Love the dandelion photo! Very artistic! I would frame that one!
Internet and computer problems make me crazy. I have no patience dealing with such things but am so addicted now that I can't be without it for too long! Hope you find a solution to what's wrong soon! We don't want to lose one second of our important communications with each other! :))!

  7. I also like your dandelion photo! I've been having good luck with my computer, but I am up at night worrying about moving all the equipment to the new home. Currently, my wireless laptop and the PC are hooked together with a little gadget. I'm not sure I know how to take it apart and put it back together without calling a tech person! The thought of being without my blog pals for any great length of time is yucky.
Hubby and I had the same steak problem last summer. You're right, it isn't the same! We're going back to charcoal too.
    Cheers!
