Its "Massage Tuesday"

After a somewhat stressful "labour-management" issue at work today, "Massage Tuesday" is seeming better and better. As soon as I leave this "office of stress" I am getting a massage.
Ooooh, the lavender and silver decor of the treatment room, the soft music and lighting, the warm almond scented oil, and the pre-heated massage table.............(its 16 below here today).
Heaven.....I feel like a decadent princess!!
I'll be all relaxed this evening for some more work on "Blossoms and Butterflies". I started working on the background - a soft sky blue and added 4 little butterflies to keep the Monarch company. I may have to adjust some of the palest pink blossoms to a shade darker pink. Some seem to be getting lost in the background.

OH YEAH, and I did buy a sewing machine last night. Come on now.......you knew I was going to do it! I'm sure my future adventures in learning to sew will be entertaining!

  1. Congratulations on buying a sewing machine.
Look forward to hearing about your adventures with it.

  2. Kim, right about now, the massage sounds great. We are having labour and economic issues which may ultimately be devastating for all in NL.

Great news about the sewing machine, you won't regret it, that's for sure!

  3. Oh Kim thank you for such a sweet comment today. It is sweet followers like you that make me mad about my internet situation. lol
I think you deserve that massage and I hope it brings you a lot of joy. In fact today is Wed so you should already have had it.
    Enjoy your day

  4. Hi Kim,
Thank you sooooo much for your help ... I am very thankful for any and all tips. I purchased another kit. (before your comments) so I hope it will turn out better ... So how hard is it to transfer a pattern on to say monks cloth? Again ..thank you for stopping buy with some much needed advice!

  5. Hope your massage went well, Kim, and I'm sure it did. As for the sewing machine, I need one badly but don't think I would have the patience to learn to use it. I sew in a button one day and it pops out the next......
