Competitive 14
I have a little bit of the competitive spirit. Not just with others, sometimes just for me. I've taken my Fitbit a little more serious the last 2 weeks. A couple of weeks ago I hit my 10,000 step goal quite easily, so I tried to do it 2 days in a row. It's not that easy when you sit at a desk 7 hours a day. So I did it 2 days in a row and then my competitive streak kicked in and I wondered if I could do it 7 days in a row.
Well........today it is 14 days in a row! Yay
For the first time EVER I am at the top of my friends leaderboard.
I blacked out the names to spare your shame. You know who you are........LOL. I've taken a little good natured jabs from one of my faithful followers over this leaderboard. Hint, hint, she's not near the top (wink)
It was fun to overtake my boss who is a fitness nut. But I think I've met my goal for awhile and will back off for a bit. I'm tired. Not enough "deep couch sitting" lately.
And in celebration of Day 14, I've made myself a little treat

Wow, congratulations, no kidding, you are a competitive person. Unfortunately, I lack in that department. lol... Like I said before, I don't have a competitive bone in my body. Maybe that's why I have osteoporosis, lol...
ReplyDeleteThe cookies looks like a nice reward.
I know the unfortunate Fitbit friend whom you left in the dust. Same on you Kim for taunting her.
Hugs,
Fitbitless JB
You crack me up woman...yes, I know who I am! After calling you names for being a show off there's nothing more I'd like to do than sit with a glass of wine and your cookies tonight. We'd have a good laugh. I have previously reached my 10,000 steps buzz but has been a while. Enjoy the cookies!
ReplyDeleteCOOKIES!!! Were you saying something?
ReplyDeleteGood luck not striving for the 10K...it is hard to go back!
Congrats!Good job. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I think that there are more cookies there than one person can eat. I will be over in a few to help you out. Wouldn't want you to get a tummy ache. That would spoil your celebrating :)
Take care, Janet W
Yeah for you, Kim!!! Maybe I need a Fitbit to motivate me.

Way to go, Kim! That is great with those steps! Have you ever heard of Misfit? I seem to have inherited one from a daughter who didn't know much about them.:-) I'd say you deserve a reward! xo Nellie
ReplyDeleteThat's great Kim! I keep thinking of getting a fitbit. Went online to look at them and I didn't realize there are different ones, so now I'm confused as to which one I would want! Cookies...that's my kind of reward!
ReplyDeleteGood morning, Kim. Congratulations! Go Kim, go Kim, go Kim. And those are some great looking cookies! Perfect reward. LOL
ReplyDeleteI need to be a little more competitive with mine...I rarely get 10,000 during the school year. I have linked to Cassie, though, and she will put me to shame, so I need to ramp up my efforts!!
ReplyDeleteThat is amazing Kim. Good for you! They gave one to Peter at his work. He is having a ball with it.
ReplyDeleteThe cookies look really yummy too. Have a great Wednesday.
Way to go, Kim! I am way behind you on daily steps...but working toward it. In time, I may be able to really challenge you!!! At any rate, keep up the good work. That is great!!!
ReplyDeleteThink me needs one, good for you Kim. Cookies look so good,Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteBravo! Awesome way to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteI keep telling myself I'll get a Fitbit but still haven't. I have to get the clip on kind because I can't wear anything on my wrists when I scrub for surgery. I do get to walk back and forth a lot so it would be fun to see how many steps I put in during working hours. Many times my coworkers who have them get "buzzed" on the way to the parking lot at the end of the day. Congrats to you for doing so well and those cookies look like a great way to celebrate!
ReplyDeleteThat is awesome so you deserve a treat!
