Competitive 14

I have a little bit of the competitive spirit.  Not just with others, sometimes just for me.  I've taken my Fitbit a little more serious the last 2 weeks.  A couple of weeks ago I hit my 10,000 step goal quite easily, so I tried to do it 2 days in a row.  It's not that easy when you sit at a desk 7 hours a day.  So I did it 2 days in a row and then my competitive streak kicked in and I wondered if I could do it 7 days in a row.  Well........today it is 14 days in a row!   Yay
For the first time EVER I am at the top of my friends leaderboard.
I blacked out the names to spare your shame.  You know who you are........LOL.  I've taken a little good natured jabs from one of my faithful followers over this leaderboard.   Hint, hint, she's not near the top (wink) It was fun to overtake my boss who is a fitness nut.   But I think I've met my goal for awhile and will back off for a bit.  I'm tired.  Not enough "deep couch sitting" lately.   And in celebration of Day 14, I've made myself a little treat

  1. Wow, congratulations, no kidding, you are a competitive person. Unfortunately, I lack in that department. lol... Like I said before, I don't have a competitive bone in my body. Maybe that's why I have osteoporosis, lol...

The cookies looks like a nice reward.
I know the unfortunate Fitbit friend whom you left in the dust. Same on you Kim for taunting her.

  2. You crack me up woman...yes, I know who I am! After calling you names for being a show off there's nothing more I'd like to do than sit with a glass of wine and your cookies tonight. We'd have a good laugh. I have previously reached my 10,000 steps buzz but has been a while. Enjoy the cookies!

Oh I think that there are more cookies there than one person can eat. I will be over in a few to help you out. Wouldn't want you to get a tummy ache. That would spoil your celebrating :)

    Take care, Janet W

  9. That's great Kim! I keep thinking of getting a fitbit. Went online to look at them and I didn't realize there are different ones, so now I'm confused as to which one I would want! Cookies...that's my kind of reward!

  11. I need to be a little more competitive with mine...I rarely get 10,000 during the school year. I have linked to Cassie, though, and she will put me to shame, so I need to ramp up my efforts!!

  15. I keep telling myself I'll get a Fitbit but still haven't. I have to get the clip on kind because I can't wear anything on my wrists when I scrub for surgery. I do get to walk back and forth a lot so it would be fun to see how many steps I put in during working hours. Many times my coworkers who have them get "buzzed" on the way to the parking lot at the end of the day. Congrats to you for doing so well and those cookies look like a great way to celebrate!
