On the border of sanity

I've been busier than a one-armed paper hanger this week. The municipal election is ramping up, so lots of overtime for me.
By the time I get home from work and get things sorted out here I am mentally and physically worn out. So I am a bit behind on my blog reading and commenting, but I will catch up soon.
I've been working on the border of my rug. It seems to relax me in the evening. I took this picture last night as I was less than halfway around

But a little mindless hooking and before I knew it tonight, I was finished. I will take a better pic tomorrow after I bind the edges. But thought I'd show you now anyway.

I don't know about you, but I'll be happy to wake up to Friday tomorrow :)

Hope your Friday goes well. You need it!!!

  3. I'm so impressed by how fast you hook. I know that you use a wide cut but just the same, you sure hook fast. I love this cute pattern and the colors are so nice.

I'm glad that you have rug hooking to help you relax after a hectic day. Already Friday tomorrow.

  5. Kim,
What a great rug! LOVE the colors and design! It's funny how hooking really helps to relax and calm the nerves when things in life get crazy! Of course there ARE other things that help too (wink)!
    Hang in there!!
    Hugs!
