A Labor of Love

Happy Labor Day to everyone. Another gorgeous day with that fresh Fall feel in the air. I'm starting to think of boots and sweaters :)

I'll be catching up with your long weekend activities soon but first I want to show you how I spent much of my day. I really wanted to finish hooking Sassy Sunflower. I hooked all afternoon, stopping only to cut more wool.

I am still looking for the right wool for the pillow backing. I am pleased with the way it turned out so far.

Back to the grind tomorrow :(

  1. I want your cooler weather. It's 100 here. I thought maybe if I brought out the fall decorations it would help. Sad to say it didn't.

  3. It looks so pretty. I like the colors you chose. It is very nice. You are such a good (rug) hooker. I love how your loops are all even and perfect. This was fun thinking you were working on the same thing. It is almost like being in the same room sort of. :) R. got a new app and I had him put your weather in it. I could see how nice it was at your house today. I wish I was there it is back to 100 again. :) Have a much nicer Tuesday this week than last week.

  4. Your Sassy rug looks so nice and I love your colors and background. It will make a fine pillow. I think that you're hooking as fast as Deanne. It kind of looks like a zentangle pattern.

  15. OOOO La La....Lovin' the earthy coolness of your color palette on this one Missy Kim. Sunflowers can be so "hot" and in your face - Though I love them for that, I also like that calmer, cooler, melancholy side when they, too, say farewell to summer. Looks like you're very much in tune with the seasons my gal pal.

    Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
