Today was quiet but yesterday I got to go on a little drive and help celebrate my Aunt and Uncle's 50th wedding anniversary. They gathered together with friends and we met for supper on the waterfront in Pictou. It was lovely. Fifty years is quite an accomplishment. It is nice to have those kind of role models in your life. Commitment today can sometimes seem rare. Again I didn't take any pictures in the restaurant. It was quite dark inside, so that will be my excuse. (Oops)
I did snap this random pic on the waterfront before I entered the restaurant, although I'm not sure why.
Lovely new rug Kim, wonderful Tumbling Pumpkins too...I am loving this pre Fall weather, a little rain at night would not hurt, it is extremely dry in our area...Congratulations to your aunt and uncle on fifty years together. Hugs to Millie, Julie.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you had a nice time. How nice you for you to do that and be with your family. I am so glad you are glad for fall. I would be ready for some but I don't think it is going to happen. Have a great new week.

Hi Kim, I am ready for cooler weather, hot this week, yuk.....How great is that, 50 years together, wonderful, glad you had fun....love the new rug also, Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteHow cool that they are celebrating 50 years. You are right that commitment is so rare. Ben and I know so many people who are getting divorced that have only been married for a few years. You took a picture of that boat because it's awesome! That's why. ;)
ReplyDeleteI am anxious for fall! Congrats to your aunt and uncle; I know they were pleased you could attend.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE fall weather! It's my favorite!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to your aunt and uncle! My husband and I have six more years to go for that one!
