Quick update

Thank you all for the comments, emails and prayers for Mom. It helped both of us.

She made it through the surgery with no major problems. She's back home now but is quite agitated. I'm hoping she will settle down soon and we can get some sleep. It's been a very long day.

    I am surprised she is home I thought they would keep her a couple of days

    Oh, Kim,
    I can't believe that mom is home. I hope she has some good drugs to calm her and ease the pain. Perhaps your drug of choice should be wine.

    I am really blown away they let her come home. I know she is maybe better off in her own surroundings but it must be really hard and scary. I will pray she settles down and sleeps.
