Almost - but not quite

Blogger is still messing with us.   Robin at The Cranky Crow blog has posted a few suggestions that worked for her.  I am going to try and wait one more day for blogger staff to figure it out because I am scared if I start messing around with my settings the whole blog might blow up.

I did figure out that I can leave comments if I use my iPad.  So my suggestion is for everyone to go out and buy and iPad.  Hehehe  Well, they are pretty nifty.

After my finger getting tired from iPad typing I decided to try the laptop again a few minutes ago.  The first 3 blogs I visited, my comments went through with no problems.  Woohoo I was convinced the problem was fixed. 

Then I stopped by another blog and typed a comment and BOOM  --- broken again!  I tried a test comment on another one and failed again.  Sheesh!  Then my followers all disappeared.  

I hope that this all means that they are working on something........

    My followers are gone too. I can still post comments but I have a big blank spot just like you.
    Oh well, at least we can still visit blogs.
    I am glad you can post with your Ipad.

    Kim, I'm wondering why this has affected some computers and others have had no problem. I use an Apple computer and so far, "knock on wood" I haven't had any problem with leaving comment. I'm wondering if it could be a computer virus that is causing this problem... My son in law say that Apple computers are less likely to get infected than PC. When Blogger was out the other day they never said that they had a virus but the problem started back then if I remember correctly. What do you think. JB

    OH no don't tell me this I am always so afraid of something happening to my computer....Hope everything gets worked out.

    I've also noticed the Blogger is acting screwy. My followers are gone, and sometimes it will do the spell check and other times it won't. Also noticed over a week ago that sometimes the new picture for the current post would show up and sometimes it wouldn't but the former post and pictures would show up.

    Hi Kim, I have found a short cut to use to post a comment. At the comment select profile select name url and then you can post . Your blog name won't come up so I add it to my comment for now

    Instead of posting using my google account I also started posting using name/url and it did work. So, I wonder if it is an issue with google? I also started writing my posts in a word document and then copy/paste into this box so that if I have a problem posting I don't lose everything that I typed.

    I have been able to post comments (so far) but when I write a post and try to pictures in it--sometimes is works and sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes they are there for a while and some times they disappear. Not glad that others are having problems, but I am glad it is not just me.

    I wonder if it has something to do with the mozilla firefox update about a week ago. I installed the update and then lost the ability to open all drop down windows on websites I have been using for years.

    I had some trouble the last few days also, but tonight it's all going fine. Hmmm...I'm blaming it on the weather. I've blamed the weather for everything else this year!

    Followers disappeared from my blog... but they are still in the dashboard... so yes... I'm guessing they are working on something... the iPad uses Safari as the browser (i'm pretty sure anyways)... so it might just be a browser specific issue like crankycrow 'splained... I use Safari and have had no problems leaving comments...
