I'm a Loser

Now, before you all jump to conclusions that I have plummeting self esteem issues . . . . .

Today was the Week 1 weigh-in at work for the January Wellness Challenge.

Despite a ridiculously delicious high calorie french cuisine feast Friday night that led off a weekend of grazing on snack food - - - I managed to lose 1.8 pounds

I was pleasantly surprised.  So that gave me the motivation to keep going for the next week.  After the weekend I figured I had blown it but now I'm ready to repeat the losing trend next week.

I still haven't cracked the 10,000 step threshold with the pedometer yet but I'm hopeful.

  6. Congratulations on loosing a pound and a half of butter. Way to go girl friend. Nothing is stopping you now.

Sometime the scale can be your friend but the only scale I looked at lately is the scale on a fish. Ha ha. JB

  7. Geesh...that's awesome! I think you've lost what I've eaten in M&M cookies. I was hoping to get a jump start with the colonoscopy...but I just dove into about 6 pieces of toast when I came home. LOL
You must feel fab! Great job, girl!
    Hugs,

  10. Good show, Kim! Remember, losing even a pound a week is better than not at all (or for that matter, gaining). Keep up the good work!

  11. Congratulations! A pound and a half is a great start, to be quite frank I'm jealous. Now that I've finshed off the peanut M&M's, Twizlers, and fudge, I can move forward with this healthy eating lifestyle. Keep up the good work, I need all the inspiration I can get! Hugs, Julie.

  15. That's a good amount to lose in the first week. Just changing a couple of things and being a little active can make a huge difference.
