Comforts

We are in a cold snap. It makes you crave the comforts of home. A cozy fire and a good old fashioned meal of meatloaf and mashed potatoes.

Miss Millie went missing earlier. I called her name and this little head popped up from underneath a nest of blankets she created. What a spoiled little pooch.

  3. I just thinks she has the sweetest eyes. It seems dogs who are on the smaller size always get cold. She is smart to find a blanket to snuggle in. Pretty Millie.

ps You might want to snuggle up with Millie under her blankets if it gets too cold!

  8. Oh, poor baby!!!
Look at those big dark eyes!
It's freezing cold and such a tiny girl needs to snuggle in to keep her little body warm.
I bet she hates going out to do 'business'.
Aaaaah, Millie, I'd send you some warm weather if I had some.

  11. My gosh, when I scrolled down and little Millie's picture appeared, my heart melted and I got the biggest grin on my face, what a doll she is.

Thanks for commenting on my blog. I so appreciate it.

  12. Millie just wants to play a little hide and seek!
You are so right about 'comfort food'. I find myself craving all those yummy, starchy old-fashioned
meals I was raised on and was taught to prepare as a young wife.
If only they weren't so fattening!

  16. Running behinder than ever again. Sigh. But I love the sneak peeks of your hooking project....I'm seeing red and white (well, off-white) - what's not to love....looks like you're making a lot of progress. Wish my absence in blogland were due to something half as fun and creative. Congrats on the "loss" - you go girl. Me, I'm craving comfort food and sweets more than ever - might have something to do with the snow (we're just starting another 2-day storm - and then the temps are supposed to plummet....I think the high for Thursday is supposed to be a balmy 1, and that's without the windchill.) Hey Millie - move over, I'm going to hunker down with you!! Hope all is well "up north there hey...." Smiles & Cranky Hugs ~ Robin

  17. Oh - and OUCH on the toe!! I used to kick my shoes off at work all the time - but they had a rule that you couldn't go about without shoes - it was always an embarrassing scramble to find that shoe that wedged itself on the far underside of my desk when the director or someone unexpected popped in my office. But at least I never broke anything. Hope your little piggy is doing better by now...Robin
