Before the Fat Man Flies

This is the last post before the Fat Man Flies.
I made a last minute run to the grocery store this morning and there were a
couple of gifts left to deliver.
Now all that is left is to Eat, Drink and be Merry!

I hope all of you have a wonderful Christmas surrounded by all that is important
to you.

As for us, all is well and this evening after Church we will gather here with
friends, and watch Its A Wonderful Life. (My favorite movie)
A few appetizers, a few drinks and await the Jolly Fat Man.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

  1. Hi Kim,
Glad you got all your errands run and can now relax and enjoy. The turkey is on the grill and all the rest of the food is prepared. I've never tried to roast a turkey on the grill before. We run our stove with propane and not being too well prepared, didn't realize the tank was getting low!
But It will all come out OK, I think.
    Bring on the Fat Man!!!

  3. Kim, I knew you would be ready with plenty of time to spare. I'm almost ready for the Jolly Fat Man too. I'm getting the afternoon off from farm duty on Christmas as my son is offering to do all my chores on top of his and my husband will do his chores on New Year so he can have that day off.

We're having Christmas dinner at our daughter but I'm bringing the Traditional desert of Broken Glass Torte and of course, wine. It a light and yummy desert with Graham crust with whipped cream and three assorted Jell-o mixed with pineapple juice. It's also known as Stained Glass Torte.

I still have to wrap a few gifts and I'm done. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones. I know that you've been very good girl to your Mom and Auntie and your blogger friends too, and Santa will surely stop by your chimney. Hugs, Julia
