Restless schedule?

You know how I whine regularly about how I don't sleep well?  Now I have proof.  I have been wearing my Fitbit faithfully all week and I have been using the sleep tracker mode.   WOW!  I will say last night was the worst stats but not by a lot.

Eight times awake and 41 times restless?  No wonder I wake up exhausted.  This was not a great way to start the weekend. I originally had a "plan" for the day but it quickly fell apart.  I did eventually get my errands done, but in the most inefficient way possible.

And my lawn desperately needed to be mowed for what I "hope" is the last time this season.  And naturally the mower AND gas can were empty.  I hated having to put a stinky gas can in my new vehicle.  Oh well, that's what us independent women have to do.  Lol.
Had to say that because I saw this on Facebook and loved it.

I think I got all my running around done so tomorrow I can hunker down and do some work.  I'm taking a course for my job and have a huge reading list get through.  Certainly not the most riveting of reading material but necessary.  If I'm a good girl and get it done early I might even bind a rug.  Woo
The weather forecast sounds like an inside day anyway. We had summer visit again this week.  My fall sweaters and boots are
yearning to get out soon.

Guess I'll close with the latest pic of my baby. This is her "pay attention to me" face.  Such a sweet girl
..

  1. Wow!! I thought my sleep was broken! I try to be in bed by 9 pm, but have to up for work at 4 am. Even on a really good night, I only get about 6 1/2 hours of sleep. I have looked at FitBit, but since I can't wear it at work, I haven't been that keen to buy one. I don't know if I really, really want to know how bad my sleep pattern is! LOL

Abby is so sweet...how can you deny her an extra snuggle? LOL

  2. Yikes! That sleep report is scary. I know I get up at least four times to go to the bathroom and then it takes forever to get back to sleep.
Why is it so hard for us to get a good solid night of sleep? I know that 4 a.m. is my 'worry time'. Do you have trouble getting back to sleep because 5 million things are going through your mind?

Guess the little furry black one doesn't have any trouble sleeping.

  3. That is really interesting. I know my sister really likes hers. I think if I had one it would show me for sure what a slacker I have become.
Well I do hope your summer days turn into fall ones soon.

  4. I don't have a Fitbit but I know I never get enough sleep. Although since I'm in Ottawa, I've been sleeping in later in the morning.

10 minutes to fall asleep is not really a long time. I think it's actually pretty good. It's the trips to the bathroom that gets me. Wine at night is a stimulant and so is chocolate but it never stopped me from having a glass anyway.

It's raining today here in Ottawa and feels fallish.

    Abby looks like Momma's girl.
    Hugs,
    JB

  5. Wow! For a while there I thought I wouldn't get to comment. The comment box was gone! :(

"weaverpat" and I have the same problem up to the bathroom...then brain turns on w/o permission and won't turn off so I can go back to bed. Once I laid awake for 3 hours! Geez, doesn't it know it's sleepy time? :)
    Cute Abby :)

    Take care, Janet W
