Catching up

I've spent the last few days catching up. And I've been making the most of my days off. Busy, busy, busy! You'd almost think I was one of those wealthy woman who lounge around and have leisurely lunches with girlfriends. I loved it! It's nice to not have a schedule for a change. Thursday morning I even went to the Hook-in at Deanne's studio.

I ordered a few Easter goodies for us too. It just wouldn't be Easter without hot cross buns. And the coconut mini cupcakes didn't last very long. Yumm

In fact I haven't even had much time to work on my rug. I thought I'd have more done by now. Here's my progress so far

I hope to have more to show you soon. I'm alternating between knitting and hooking. I haven't been the best blogger lately but I'll get better soon. I feel like I'm slowly getting caught up on life. You need a few days off every once in awhile to recharge, be selfish and un-scheduled.

I hope you all had a lovely Good Friday.

  5. I used to make hot cross buns for Easter and since life got busier I haven't made any. I should do like you and buy some.
Your sunflowers are looking real pretty. It will be a pretty rug and I'm looking forward to seeing it finished whenever you get around to do it. No Presssure from me since I haven't touched my rug hooking for most of winter.

I'm coming home on Easter evening. I hope that you all have a Happy Easter at your house.
    Hugs,

  7. You are so right Kim. Sometimes by the time I get home from work and take care of the dog, cook, eat and clean up supper, it is time for laundry. I don't always make it on to the computer. Have a wonderful Easter.
