"What time is it?"
"10am"
"No it's not. It's only 9am".
OR my personal favorite (not) "What time was it yesterday?" ARRGH. Yes folks, this will drag on for the entire week! Sigh.....
On a happier note, I "might" be down one project. I think the chicken pillow will be going to a new home later this week. Yay! Just waiting to select an appropriate wool backing.
My relaxing weekend continued as I decided I wasn't cooking today. Delivery pizza for supper, and it was so good. It's been awhile since I ordered pizza so maybe that's why I enjoyed it so much.
Apparently relaxing is contagious because Millie has caught it. Yet she always manages to keep her eye on me. Such a loyal little buddy :)
My head is swimming with new ideas from reading the new Rug Hooking magazine. I'm toying with the idea of hooking a large rug. Stay tuned!

ReplyDeleteMillie is adorable.

ReplyDeleteYour chicken is absolutely delightful! So happy it has found a home already. More wool $$ :)
Sweet pic of little Millie. It's amazing how closely they watch their human.
I hope Auntie doesn't drive you too crazy this week. Never a dull moment at your house, is there?
Hugs :)

Wow,I'm so impressed. Your chicken pillow is beautiful and already is going home. Your hooking is hot... Thanks for showing us Millie. I've missed seeing her lately. I'm glad that the weather has warmed up for her.
ReplyDeleteI'm not fond of the time change either. It always takes me a week to adjust, kind of like jet lag.
Have a great week,
Hugs

What time was it yesterday... lol! Crackin' me up here! I agree, the time change has its good and bad. Great looking mat!
ReplyDeleteOMG! Zip has 'time denial' too! Always had. His favorite is 'it's not REALLY 9 a.m. (or whatever hour)!' And he's not 80 either. LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove the chicken mat! Didn't you just start it a week ago? Can't wait to see what's next.
I just scrolled back and you just started the chicky mat YESTERDAY???
ReplyDeleteWhat time??? He-he!
Trying to get teenagers out of bed the first Monday after DST starts? Not so fun. But I do love your litte hen and eggs mat! Wow, you work fast!
ReplyDeleteOh how cute Kim, love the pillow, great hooking.......Ahhhh, Millie is so sweet, Francine.
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet little one. I love our furry companions.
ReplyDeleteBut oh my stars love the chickie pillow.
Great job,
Woolie hugs

ReplyDeleteMillie is so sweet! sandie
ReplyDeleteI am a bit like auntie mine only lasts a day or two. This morning I was thinking last week that it would be 5am not six so that is why I am so tired. Why am I not hungry until 2pm because it was 1 last week ha!Love your chicken and go for the large rug I think they are less work than all the little ones.
ReplyDeleteCathy
Very cute project. Do you use patterns?
ReplyDeleteSweet Millie!
Love your chicken! And love seeing a picture of your Millie. Isn't it sweet how our dogs follow us around. Our big boy tries to be a lap dog, but isn't very successful at it. And our little guy has too much energy (even at 13) to hold still for very long.
