As it draws nearer . . . .

Several blog posts today reminded me that it is indeed December 20th

The big day is approaching very quickly.

So I thought I would show you how that makes me feel . . . .

So very relaxed and zen-like

***

Come on people - I hope none of you believe that crap

This is actually closer to the truth . . .

There are still a list of gifts to buy, wrap, deliver.

There are still things to bake.

There are still ideas for the hard-to-buy-for that I am hoping will pop magically into my head.

There are annoying, crabby, pushy people in the stores that I want to run down with my cart.
(Hmmm, Is it possible I am one of them . . . . . . )

My dream of starting vacation at 4:30pm today is not going to happen.

Plan B - Noon tomorrow (fingers crossed)

This is starting to look plausible . . . .

Ho, Ho, Friggin Ho

I will keep my fingers crossed for you to get off at noon, tomorrow. :)

  10. Kim, you had me going for a sec. I was wondering what's gotten over you to make you feel so zen.
You're a hoot even in the middle of this Christmas madness.

I have every faith in you that you'll be ready on time because you are used to beating deadlines.

I love the wine picture and I could use a glass RIGHT NOW.

This afternoon I went shopping until I had to come home to feed the calves and I was drained of life but still needed to pee..
The poor calves must I thought that I was a zombie when I came in the barn. The cats all got spooked ran in every direction. I just said "What the hell's going on here.

Shopping for others when I have no idea what to get them is the worst. That's how ZEN I feel. It will all come to pass, I hope. JB

  13. Kim, Kim. I don't know what to say except I was with you until this past Sunday and then our "Family Christmas" was OVER and now I can actually relax and enjoy Christmas :) I did dream of a blush-ish or rose-ish kind of Christmas yesterday. First glass of wine I have had since I got sick. I wish for you to get off for the Holidays, get all the "stuff" done and have yourself a Merry Little Christmas! I love the wine cartoon!
