I did eventually get around to binding the edges of the "beach bum" rug. I have had her hooked for close to 2 months but never got around to finishing! All done and ready for hanging.
She really does remind me of my Grandmother years ago. Oh, by the way - she is a Deanne Fitzpatrick design.And lastly I hooked the last loop on the "Outhouse" rug. I'm just ready to sew the edges in.
So, all in all it was a productive day.

ReplyDeleteWay to go. It sure feels good, doesn't it? I managed to get the side porch cleaned today ~ finally. Too bad it doesn't stay clean for long, especially with all the bugs.
I actually hooked for 20 minutes today. I know it doesn't sound like much, but I've barely picked up the hooked in over a month. Too much to do and too little time...sigh.

I agree with Lauren that it sure feels good when that happens! Are you going to hang them at the cabin? They would look wonderful where ever you decide. Cathy G

ReplyDeleteI was at Deanne's studio a couple of weeks ago and it was like being in heaven. She is lovely and what a wonderful day to finally meet her!
Great job on Beach Bum! I love how you did the water, and her flowers on her suit. Congrats on finishing!
