Shootin' Ducks

.......with a camera. Not a feather was harmed in the making of this post!

These shots are from a quick trip to the Duck Pond at Mount Allison University in Sackville, NB.
And swans too!

It looks like she is guarding some eggs on this little island in the middle of the pond.
It was a gorgeous evening.

  1. did you use that new fancy lens? the first one is my fav.

  2. Actually I used 3 different lenses. I took 135 shots tonight. Just grabbed a few to post.

  3. What beautiful pictures! My step-dad learned how to carve ducks many years ago, and his ducks look like the ones you have posted!

Looks like you are having fun with your camera!

  4. Beautiful photos, what make of camera do you use? We all know it's not the camera, but the person in back of the camera!

  5. Oh Kim ~
Your photos are phenomenal! So beautiful and so well composed. Can I come take lessons? I really am in awe.
    Pug hugs :)

  6. Beautiful photos! And I'm glad you just shoot with a camera. My brother-in-law shoots them with a gun and it Kills me! Poor things.
