They look just like this.......Have you seen them? (I fear I'm losing my mind)
This morning I rearranged the furniture upstairs a bit. I'm still not happy with it and will go back to it tomorrow. I had a visit from my friends Mom. She makes the best mustard pickles. She brought me 3 jars and a extra little housewarming gift of a jar with scented pumpkin guest soaps.
And I hooked some more!!!! Feels so good. I really like this pattern - it's very primitive which suits me fine.
Looks like Lauren and I got out of our slump on the same day ;)
Fall is definitely in the air. It was 64 degrees in the house this morning and the cool wind outside would almost knock you over.
The only reasonable explanation for some "disappearing" tomatoes I bought at a farmer's market was that they slipped through the too-wide openings of my little trolley basket shopping thingy. But I really suspect aliens, tomato-loving aliens!
ReplyDeleteI wonder where they went. I like your little rug. It looks so nice. I can't wait to see your rearranging.
ReplyDeleteI did she your tomatoes! I think they were among the 25+ pounds I turned into salsa...sorry!
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your tomatoes!!! Perhaps they fell outta the bag and into your cart!? Did they roll under your car!? (Ketchup!?). Just trying to help since you helped me!! You're really cruising along on that hooking project -- awesome!
ReplyDeleteThe maters are probably at the checkout in the bag! How do I know this? Let's just say I've left a few items behind before...anyway, I have many still on the vines in my garden you're very welcome to have...just a short drive! Enjoy those pickles and even though our house was 64 on Friday morning it was near 90 today....weird weather!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim , your rug looks nice . Lucky you fall is arriving!
ReplyDeleteoh my...tomato thieves? Sorry, but couldn't help but laugh. Your rug is looking great!
ReplyDeleteOooo the mustard pickles! Your rug looks fun, nice to see you are hooking again! Your tomatoes.. I know nothing!
ReplyDeleteI need to get out of my slump. I need to get a hook in my hand again.
ReplyDeletedid you call the grocery to see if you left a bag. I am semi famous for that.
I have to work tomorrow so it really puts a cramp in my style.
I need to dig out what I bought too and see if something excites me.
Cathy
Damn blogger! It just ate two comments.
ReplyDeleteLOVIN' your rug.
Sorry about your 'maters.
Hugs :)
Lauren
Okay I am worried for you too! The case of the missing tomatoes.... Love your rug.
ReplyDeleteWasn't me, no tomato's here.....I love the prim rug Kim, beautiful.Blessings Francine.
ReplyDeleteI just picked a whole bunch of tomatoes from my garden. If you were closer, I'd bring some over! :)
ReplyDeleteJeez, a tomato thief? Cant trust anyone now a days. Least no one took the pickles. Pretty rug.
ReplyDeleteThat drives you crazy for sure when you can't find something you know you bought! Enjoy the cooler weather!
ReplyDeleteI'm assuming you did a thorough search of the car? I've had that happen before. A friend did that last year; a package of chicken slid out of the bag and under the seat. You can guess how she found it later...LOL
ReplyDeleteWow. 64. How does that feel? I bet it was divine! We're still in the 90s here. And I am so over it. The tomatoes...it DoodleBug was there I'd say she ate them. She does that. Eats those things just like apples.
