Yay, it's finally Friday and even better, the start of a long weekend! I had a great nights sleep last night and only had to work until noon today. I spent most of the afternoon visiting with friends. I went to my bestie Terri's office and picked up a yummy bottle of mustard pickles from her Mom. She is the best cook.
Then I went to visit Deanne. I let her make me a cup of tea (wasn't that nice of me to "let" her?), we got caught up on each other's news and I looked around at beautiful rugs and wool. Her studio really is beautiful. It made me want to hook again. I am once again faced with the dilemma of continuing to finish a piece I'm not happy with or chuck it and start something else.
The search for inspiration continued as I sought out the latest Rug Hooking magazine
Found one! This is a great edition. I found a couple of things that peaked my interest. I also found something else while I was getting the magazine
I haven't seen those Gingerbread Oreos! I dare not bring them into the house!:)
ReplyDeleteNot a bad way to settle down to unwind with a great magazine, a cup of tea and some Gingerbread Oreos. I never knew that they made gingerbread Oreos. Working in an office is hard work too. It makes for a long day, I know...
ReplyDeleteNow I'll have to keep an eye open for the new Rug Hooking Magazine.
Long weekend, gee, I totally forgot that Remembrance Day was this long weekend. I actually had to go look on the calendar and I'm embarrassed...
It has been a hard couple of days and I'm a bit disoriented but tomorrow should be better for me. I won't have to lug water for the calves milk replacer. Putting in the new water pump has disturbed the well water and it was coming out black. It just cleared up late this afternoon at the farm. The cattle drinks about 4000 gallons of water a day so the water ran a lot and I'm surprised it took that long.
Have a restful land fun long weekend.
Hugs,
JB

ReplyDeleteGingerbread Oreos, thanks for the heads up, I'm on the hunt...BTW, how is Miss Millie, is she back to her old self? I am so confused when it comes to your phone bill...LOL...
ReplyDeleteOMG: Gingerbread Oreos???? You're killing me. Do you get Paul Newman cookies up there? He has some called Ginger-Os that are divine. In fact, someone you know may not be able to control herself once the package is open...just sayin'.
