However, unless you have a maid - don't start watching it until you've finished your housework. I didn't get around to doing the laundry until 4pm.
Likewise, not much done on the rug either. I did finish the butterfly, although it needs some tweaking
And since I took this overall photo, I've added a few elements to the bottom left corner......and then I pulled it all out
Now I'm debating my next move. I might pull the border in some. I'll sleep on it because I hate wasting time hooking only to tear it all out.
Once again the weekend has flown by and all the things I had hoped to do will wait for another day. Well, I need to finish season 1 of Downton :)

Beautiful progress on the butterfly rug. As you can tell from my blog posts, I love butterflies. Hope you have a good week.

ReplyDeleteI'm lovin' your butterfly. So sweet.
So many people are talking about DA. I just may have to join in.
Hope your week starts off well.
Hugs :)

Poor Edith, jilted at the alter. I had a feeling this scenario might take place. Are you watching the Behind The Scenes of Highclear Castle? I just have to say I love Maggie Smith, it does not matter what role she takes on she is always wonderful. Love the saying on your latest creation, and very pretty too!
ReplyDeleteThe butterfly rug is lovely! (does that sound a tinsey bit English? No, I didn't think so) I just finished watching Downton Abby tonight..sigh..love it! Love the costumes!
ReplyDeleteSweet little butterfly! I'm resisting buying DA on iTunes because I won't get another thing done till I finish it!!
ReplyDeleteKim, DA is addicting. Season 3 is on here on Sunday nights, I'm loving it. I like you rug.
ReplyDeleteKim, your rug is beautiful and so delicate and feminine . I just love it.
ReplyDeleteI'm staying away from Downton Abbey for now because I'll never manage to get my life back on tract if I watch. If you've got the time relax while watching the series, don't feel guilty that you MUST hook. Hooking is a diversion and so is DA.
Have a great day.
hugs,
JB
Wow Kim, Your getting better and better if that's possible. I love Downton abbey.Hugs Cheri
ReplyDeleteOh Kim, your rug is amazing! What beautiful colors, and the design is so pretty...what a talent!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog for a visit, and for your sweet comment...I am now a follower of your beautiful blog as well.
I do looove Downton, and I agree that unless you have a maid, forget about getting anything done...of course I must tell you about another amazing British series...Lark Rise to Candleford, that also takes much of my attention but is so worth it.
Have a great day
Hugs

Although I am new to your blog, those rugs are beautiful!! I am afraid to start watching Downton Abbey because of the time involved....but I might have to cave!
ReplyDeleteYour mat is really pretty and nice. It looks great. It is true I am glad I don't watch it until evening. I feel like I sit and watch the whole thing with a stupid grin on my face.
ReplyDeleteI adore DA!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have two new season 3 episodes taped and waiting...waiting for a night I want a treat. I think it's a wonderful show and the clothing is such eye candy. Perhaps watching TV is a waste of time, but I don't really think so. Except for shows like DA, which I must watch every second of, I usually hook or sew, so I get lots of projects done. The butterfly looks good so far- such unusual coloring.
ReplyDeleteI am going to have to watch Downtown Abby I keep hearing everyone loves it so now I am intrigued. I love your mat. I am a butterfly lover and thats so cute. I will remember that from now on, its snowing here btw.
