Thump thump - bling bling

Thumps and blings were the sounds of the day - and not in a good way.  Early this afternoon I could feel a headache starting at the base of my neck - stress headache.  As the afternoon progressed my head continued to thump and that stupid blackberry kept blinging with notifications of emails, meetings, reminders.......Enough!

I am behind at work, not just a little.....a lot.  This year seems worse than others.  I am feeling a bit (well, a lot) overwhelmed.   I need to get things under control.

So I may be a little scarce for a little bit in blogger-ville.   I need to take a few things off my plate.  I won't be gone all together, just may not comment or post much for a few days.

Don't forget about me!!  I'll get back to your blogs soon   :)

  4. Dear Kim, your job is very demanding and we understand. Time off from Bloggerville is what the doctor ordered and I was thinking to do the same. I now only get on the computer to take a load off my poor tired legs.

    Take care. Hugs. JB

  7. Oh, Kim ~
You are unforgettable :) Take your time, get stuff done, and come back when you can. I'm sure you have enough to stress about and don't make blogging one of them.
    Big hugs :)

  8. Honey sometimes that is what it takes to get things under control. I know I am not the best blogging buddy of late myself but I do think of you often.
Only thing that is important right now is your health.
Take time off and be good to yourself.
    Feel better
    Love ya

  11. Kim, take some time for yourself. I know it doesn't seem right when you feel so overwhelmed, but it's the thing to do. You have to fortify yourself. Also, be gentle with yourself. Do what you can do in each moment and do your best not to fret what doesn't get done. I promise, I speak from experience. In the long run, you and your health is the most important thing. Your body (head) is telling you something.

  13. I'm living this life right now. I need my letter of re-hire to come to be. Until then...work, work, work! We'll be here...rather, they will...I'll be back about when you'll be back! Maybe we can go out when it all calms down!
    Hugs to you!!

  17. I've sure been MIA in the blogging world for a while but there are reasons that all of us would probably understand if we all chose to share. In the cyber world, it's good to have friends and friends who understand. Good luck with all of your stress!!

  18. Well, since I started from the top and not the bottom of my catch-up, looks like you weren't gone long. ;o) But I do understand that just a clean desk might not mean the stress is over. I've so been there myself - and I've gone MIA here in Blogland - and let it become a stressor all its own....It shouldn't be. Just remember - this is for enjoyment. We'll take all the Kim we can get, when we can get it. (And for some us, it means I might have to catch up now and again....) ;o) Robin
