Spring has sprung

The grass has riz
My mood has riz

Cranky is gone.  Much of the credit goes to all the comments I received last night.  I couldn't help but laugh at them.

Yesterday, at the end of the normal work day, I went into a 5 hour meeting.  It should have been over in 3 hrs but you know how it goes sometimes.  Add the fact the Dancing With The Stars was starting last night - - while I was still at work.  By the time I got home, I had missed the first hour and I was exhausted and crabby.

Then I popped onto facebook and saw a fellow hooker/blogger posting about DWTS.  As we chatted back and forth, giving out opinions on the dancers, it was almost like we were watching it together.  Thanks Alice.   That, plus the funny comments you left had me all cheered up by bedtime.

The first day of Spring here was perfect.  And it put me in the mood to have a little fun. Spring Fever makes us a little silly!  My friend Terri and I have been taking turns tormenting other over chocolate chai coffee.  The coffee bar is downtown, near my office but wayyyy across town from her office.  Last week she posted on my facebook a photo of her with 3 coffees --- None of which was for me.   So today I retalitated with a photo of her husband delivering me a coffee to my office!!

I thank myself everyday for a friend like her, and a friend like her that is good natured.   Now I wait for the payback.........   Its the waiting that is the worst.   I wonder what her next move is??  And when will she strike?? LOL

Ahhhh, the joys of Spring Fever

  1. A five hour meeting? I'd have been cranky too! I hope you love your profession, BTW I'd bring you coffee! Have a better rest of the week! Hugs, Julie.

  2. Lord 5 hours I would be sleeping what the heck to you have to say for 5 hours?
Glad you got your coffee. I love chi but never had the chocolate. sounds good though

  3. Nothing like good friends who make you laugh!! Two of mine came to visit me today and I thanked God for them while going through a little crisis of my own. (I may find the courage to blog about it one of these days..)
Spring does have a way of cheering one up also...yeah!

It'll be fun to see what the retaliation is....

  4. I am so glad you have friends to make you laugh. I would be more than cranky after a five hour meeting. Good grief. I thought about you all day.
    Laughter really does help. :)

  5. Hi Kim,What a long meeting. Good friends are the best!!

  6. Glad I could make you laugh ~ it's a wonder you had your sanity after such a long meeting! And I love that your frined's husband brought you coffee ~ wonder what she thought when she saw him on the blog?! Hopefully, your friend has a great sense of humor! Glad today is a better day!!

  7. I KNEW the crankiness wouldn't last long - glad you're feeling better! And wasn't DWTS good? I missed a bit myself, but it's going to be a good season!

  8. I missed DWTS I wanted to see it just to see who all was on it. I couldn't find it on my TV guide. :(

Glad the crankies are gone. YAYYYYYYY Cute kitty and Spring pics.

Now you got ME wondering what your friend's next move will be. lol

    Take care, Janet W

  9. Ahh Kim, you are lucky to have a friend like Terri. She adds spice to your life. My life is rather boring as compared to yours but a 5 hours meeting would make anybody cranky.

Thank goodness for Coffee and friends.

The only exciting thing that happened today was a new born heifer calf.

I hope that today will bring you lots of joyful moments and sunshine and warm temps.
    Hugs. JB

  10. Yes, you have a wonderful friend in Terri. Who wouldn't be cranky after a five hour meeting? I'm shocked you just survived to talk about it. I have one suggestion for you a DVR! Record those shows girl, then you can watch them whenever you can. Hubby and I are retired yet we still record everything, that way we can watch them when we want and without commercials. I appreciate your comments on my blog.

  11. Yay! I'm so glad you are doing better. Friends are just wonderful for making us feel better. And that coffee sounds delicious!

  12. Hmmmm...a 5 hr meeting? Oh, I so DON'T miss those days. Love the thought of a photo of Terri's hubby delivering you coffee....That was a good one....But, yikes, that payback's gonna be a you-know-what.....Can't wait to see what she comes up with to top that one....Make sure you share... ;o) Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin (Glad your crankies are gone....If you're a glutton for punishment, I have some to share....)
