Harvest Golds

September is off to a good start.  My favorite season is upon us.  I love the weather,
the fashions, the comfort foods, the colors....

Yesterday I  dug out this collection of Harvest Gold colors for a new project.

I'm going to try something a little different - a little abstract maybe?

At this point it is just a tiny germ of an idea.  I always get these things that look
great in my head but never really transfer to the burlap.

Maybe this time will be different.

Even if this project takes a strange turn and transforms into something else,
I am still enjoying working with these colors.

  2. I can see why, they are beautiful colors. I would want to use them too.
I think what you have so far looks very nice.
I never know, but I do seem to enjoy fall the best too. I like the colors and the clothes and not sweating all day. Today the high is 101.
    It makes me crazy.
    Have a lovely day.

  6. I'm clinging to summer like a needy child - but when fall does finally come, I'll embrace it like my only true friend. My favorite season by far.....Yummy colors....is that rug punch you're doing there? I needle punch, and rug hook, but have never done the rug punch thing....Can't wait to see where your freeforming takes you....Happy Sunday Girl! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
