September is off to a good start. My favorite season is upon us. I love the weather,
the fashions, the comfort foods, the colors....
Yesterday I dug out this collection of Harvest Gold colors for a new project.
I'm going to try something a little different - a little abstract maybe?
At this point it is just a tiny germ of an idea. I always get these things that look
great in my head but never really transfer to the burlap.
Maybe this time will be different.
Even if this project takes a strange turn and transforms into something else,
I am still enjoying working with these colors.
LOVE those colors! I can't wait to see develops!
ReplyDeleteHugs!
I can see why, they are beautiful colors. I would want to use them too.
ReplyDeleteI think what you have so far looks very nice.
I never know, but I do seem to enjoy fall the best too. I like the colors and the clothes and not sweating all day. Today the high is 101.
It makes me crazy.
Have a lovely day.
I love to see the progress of ideas in a free-form hooking. Love those colors! Whatever develops, it should be stunning.
ReplyDeleteThose colors! Just gorgeous. And I want to sit and touch that yarn. It all looks delicious.
ReplyDeleteKim, you put me to shame again with yet another project. I love the colors and can't wait to see the finish project and I too prefer Fall to summer. JB
ReplyDeleteI'm clinging to summer like a needy child - but when fall does finally come, I'll embrace it like my only true friend. My favorite season by far.....Yummy colors....is that rug punch you're doing there? I needle punch, and rug hook, but have never done the rug punch thing....Can't wait to see where your freeforming takes you....Happy Sunday Girl! Smiles & Hugs ~ Robin
ReplyDeleteKim, Great colors.I wish it would be fall soon. Our fall is very mild. I envy all of you that have true seasons!
ReplyDeleteHi Kim.... Beautiful fall colors.. Those are truly my favorite colors, just give me some rust variegated colors and I am happy... Cannot wait to see how the project turns out...
