This, that and Cousin It?

Don't you hate it when you have a really fun idea for a post but its not a convenient time.  And then when you do have the time to post you can't remember the idea.

I've been playing around a little bit with the hook.  I'm not going to tell you what I'm trying and I'm pretty sure you will never guess...
Maybe I'll get the top part finished tonight before Dancing with the Stars comes on.  Tonight is the first elimination.   Who's going home??   Any predictions ??  Any favorites so far ??

Now for another random part of this post - Most of the snow is gone except for a pile of dirty crusty mess left at the edge of the driveway.  Look what the snow plow left behind

A giant piece of sod peeled up and perched on top of the snow.  It makes me laugh every day.  All I think of is Cousin It from the Addams Family
Can you see it ??

Or do you see a haystack ??

I don't normally wish for rain but it wish it would take that lump of crusty snow away.   That's enough random ramblings for tonight.

  1. I'm very curious about the new hooking project! As far as Cousin It is concerned...just be glad that "Thing" is not crawling out from under it!! (Spring really is coming, isn't it?)

  2. Kim, thank goodness I found my glasses in time to watch Dancing With The Stars! I am rooting for Kirstie and Max too, I think they are a perfect fit for one another. Looking forward to future photos of your most recent project.

  3. I like the colors in your new project. Looks interesting.
I am not sure who is going to get elminated in DWTS. Some of those so-called stars I don't know very well. A couple of them really stink, but I really like Kirstie and Ralph.

  4. Well I saw a dinosaur, but if I squint just right I can see cousin It. You are so funny, I can see you laughing. I like your new mats. They are very nice. Well I don't watch your favorite show so I will have to get my updates here. I think your commentary is funnier anyway. :)
    Have fun!

  6. Its going to be a purse I can tell!!!
Being a Steelers fan you can guess who I think needs to win...Ward is such a baby face with such a mischevious grin...oh and that tush!! Even without those tight football pants!!

  7. Purse fronts? I have missed more than half of DWTS tonite ~ but really only interested in the end! I'm guessing it's Mike the DJ guy ~ he's cute as can be but the poor guy can't dance!!

  8. Kim, that's what my guess was too , a purse.

You need to cut out a pair of sun glasses for Cousin It snow bank. That should make your snow bank more interesting to look at.

Enjoy watching Dancing with the Stars and I hope that your favorite dancers win. JB

  9. Kim ~
I miss so much not having a TV. I've never seen DTWS.
I, too, have these great ideas for posts when I'm away from the computer. Put me in front of it and ...BRAIN FART!
    Hugs :)

  11. Kim that giant blob of sod is something else! I want to know what you are up to with that hooking project. CH was glued to his Lazy-Boy last night watching DWTS. I think I am going to enjoy this season. I had been kind of losing interest but I like this group. I have lots of great ideas for blog posts but that procrastination thing I have going on just messes with me. Why do I find getting a blog post up such an overwhelming effort? No answer required Kim :)

  12. Oh you make me laugh Girlfriend....I could go with either Cousin It or the haystack....but I tend to be partial to Cousin It....I used to think he was real and wondered why I didn't have any cool cousins like that. ;o) Robin
