Hook, hook, hook

I think I've hooked more in the last few days than I have in months.  When you get the hooking bug its best to make the most of it :).  I finished my challenge rug but not ready to show it yet.  Still may be an area I want to change.  I finished hooking a Christmas piece and before supper I started this pillow that's in the latest rug hooking magazine.  It's a fun little project.
The Sparks have been flying off the hook!   This is just a short post tonight.  I am being stared at from across the room.   This is what Abby does when she wants to go to bed.
After a minute of being ignored she will come over and scratch my leg and then resume the staring.  Lol   I'll be so glad to be able to remove the cone of shame in a few more days.   Ok - bedtime.  Can't stand the looks any longer ..

  2. Abby looks like she adapted well to the cone. I haven't even cracked open the latest RHM but it is in my room so will check it out tonight with a glass of wine. Happy hooking.

  3. That looks like a fun little rug. It would make a great pillow.
Abby's beauty sleep is very important to her. She'll be so glad to have that cone removed. If she misbehaves, you can use the cone as a reminder that it's better to behave than misbehave but I'm sure she won't need it. Poor thing.

  4. All my furbabies did the look at bedtime, their bedtime, of course! But none was as good as Maddy! She would stare deeply right into my eyes as if she was doing the Jack Russell mind transfer! What I wouldn't give to have that stare one more time.

Your pattern looks great. I am so glad you are hooking again and sparks are flying off that hook.
    Have a lovely day.

  8. I was on a roll with my challenge rug too - very intense hooking for a couple of weeks. Can't wait to see yours all finished. That Christmas pillow caught my attention too - love it!

  10. Happy to hear the sparks are flying. I've hooked more in the last couple of weeks than I normally do, too, and it feels so good. I'm sure that will come to a screeching halt soon.
Miss Abby is getting so big.
    Hugs :)
