My new fella

You know us single gals,
we are always on the prowl for a cute guy.

I thought I would introduce you all to my latest guy.

We just met last week and he has already moved in....

He's a really looker isn't he?

I always wondered about those studious looking bald guys.

At first I thought he must be real smart because
people always say
"grass doesn't grow on a busy street"

But then today I noticed a few sprigs of green hair
sprouting up

Sorry the pic is a bit blurry, but trust me - it's green hair.

I'll keep you posted on "our relationship"
He's not much of a talker but
he sure is cute!

P.S.  This was the craft done at Mom's Adult Day Care last week.  He should soon have a nice crop of hair to show you.

  3. that is funny Kim I wouldn't have put you as a bald guy kinda girl!!
On a more serious note I think it is great that you show off the crafts your mom makes for you as I am sure she did with the crafts you brought her. It is interesting how our roles change as our Parents age or become infirm. I remember bathing my mom before her passing and thinking she used to do this for me how can I not love and mother this amazing woman who loved and mothered me.
I hope you have a great weekend!!

  7. I'm laughing my head off because he looks like one of our doctors! A few of those hairs growing out of his nose would clinch the look-a-like!

  8. I'm laughing at Yaya's comment... is he, like, a Chia pet man? Love that you display your mom's crafts. Sweet.

  9. This is hilarious! I look forward to watching him evolve. I'm curious to see whether or not the 'hair' is an improvement. :)

Ok, ok.... I'll stop already! Like I said, I wanna go to that daycare!! Smiles & Hugs - for you and your Stud....I mean Spud....Robin
