July is a blur

This month is flying by.  I can't believe I haven't posted in so long. And I haven't visited you either....sorry!
I have my family from Vermont for the month. I've been working and driving back and forth from the beach.  I've been spending time here

Such a pretty beach, isn't it?   And I've been eating lots of this type of stuff

The Sandpiper restaurant fried clams  -  I will go out on a limb here and say there are the best....anywhere!  There's also been a few feeds of lobster and mussels

We have even been entertaining a daily visitor.

He is so cute and tame.  If we are late in putting out the peanuts, he jumps on the deck railing and chirps!  Lol

And it's 12 days until moving day!  I've been planning, organizing, etc.  Almosy everything but packing. Lol. It's true, I haven't packed one thing yet :(.  But I did go to a lovely House Warming Shower hosted by my friends.  I got so many lovely things. I can't wait to show you once I'm settled.

I ordered some new furniture today. It will all come together. Hurry up Closing Day!!

Tomorrow night I get to have dinner with the lovely Jen Manuel from Fish Eye Rugs.  She's in town for a workshop at Deanne's.  I can't wait to catch up with her.

So that's what's happening here in Crazy Town and why I've been MIA here on the blog.  Once I get moved and settled I'll be back more regularly and checking in on your posts.

  6. Kim, you're killing me with all that yummy seafood. I'm a maritimer, born a stone throw away from the sea and I miss my seafood.....
Seriously, I'm so happy for you. You are almost there and you deserve it so much. It all sounds so exiting getting new stuff for your new house and having house warming showers from your friends is fantastic.

I'll be here when you get back.
We survived the hurricane but what a ride ....

    Hugs,

  7. Wow...it's coming fast! How exciting for you! And, fun! Well, except the packing part. Unpacking is way more fun...finding new places and new arrangements for all of your stuff. Enjoy every moment! And, glad you are having a great time with your family.
