Something new to discover each time I go. Yours sounds fabulous and fun. Glad you got to enjoy it, but I do feel the pain of heat and humidity. We've had plenty all summer but today is perfect..70's, sunny, no humidity, rain over the weekend made everyone smile! Hope this week is cooler for you!yayahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12047536332780197024noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3417359688941324284.post-2829683472119229622012-08-06T07:52:31.414-03:002012-08-06T07:52:31.414-03:00You made the most of your staycation! It's hot enough for me though.

I haven't been to the Farmers Market in ages. I used to like going but I avoided large crowds after Chemo and the the pandemic scare and got so busy I guess it never occurs to me to go. I'm not much of a consumer anyway and tend to grow my own veggies in the summer and freeze some. I think that the tent is a wonderful temporary idea where there's no permanent Farmers Market building.

I'll join the Complainer's Club if there's still room.

Hugs, JBJuliahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03423754263165266554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3417359688941324284.post-31572028076160335342012-08-05T19:03:43.675-03:002012-08-05T19:03:43.675-03:00I will not complain about the winter...at least no...I will not complain about the winter...at least nowhere near as much as I do the heat! I love going....even though my boys aren't huge fruit/veggie eaters (I know!)and I always come home with more than we'll eat, there's nothing like something fresh from the garden or market. Hope you stay cool. We've been wretchedly hot (and that's not said lightly from a gal who likes it hot), but a cold front came in yesterday and today we're only in the low 70's. With the accompanying brisk wind, I had to switch out my shorts for denims and dig out my hoodie. Happy Sunday! Summer is my least favorite season.Don't get me wrong I enjoy it but not the humidity. Ever since I had my kids I can not tolerate the heat and the humidity. The best thing about summer for me is the fresh veggies and I have the entire summer of from work. Farmers markets are one of my favorite places to frequent. The crowds are huge! Tough to do in the heat! I wouldn't last two seconds! I hope you do go again and the weather breaks so you can really enjoy it!!
Stay in front of that fan!!
Hugs!
cathy gCathy G.https://www.blogger.com/profile/14409521338403315750noreply@blogger.com
